It was a cool day, the sun was set high in the sky but was hidden behind cottonball clouds, lumbering lethargically over a pastel blue canvass. A crisp gale shuttered by, brushing chocolate-striped fur backwards. Kanjee stood stock still for the moment, bracing his lean frame and leaning into the breeze. He lifted his tufted chin, a pleased chuff permeating his muzzle. It was a relief, the invigorating breeze, from the otherwise humid days. Lately all it had been doing was raining. Constantly. And that left the days muggy and uncomfortable, although Kanjee did relish perusing in the showers.
The male relaxed his sinewy muscles, frame becoming distinctly slackened. With a noxious turn of his blocky head, he angled his ears down like airplane wings and lumbered on his way, tail swaying gently as he came upon a rather massive spruce tree. He peeled his lip back, exposing ferociously sharp canines, whetted for dicing prey. Though today they were doing no dicing. Instead, the male rubbed up against the tree, tossing and caressing his whiskered cheeks against the needles. His curvaceous torso fluently wiggled into the movement. He rubbed his shoulder against the branches as well, relieving a rather bothersome itch. He chuffed and forcefully tore through the branches, throwing his weight to the pine-littered floor. He writhed about, further relieving the itch placed inconveniently between his shoulder blades.
