IC STATS
Salutations, stranger. You have stumbled upon a dangerous land, known as Vergess, where the only rule is survival of the fittest. You must hunt, kill, earn rocks and make yourself stronger. It's the only way. Or you can run, and hope you are not caught.
What is your decision? Welcome to Deadly Games.
JUNE 28 Deadly Games is finally finished going through a revamp. Slightly altered bio form, new table, new skin, a few new boards, and new staff members! With a fresh start, let's get this site up off the ground. Hope to see any potentially new members, and welcome back all old members. It's great to see you guys again.
MAP OF VERGESS fer - guess
MARCH YEAR ONE
Rain has been falling almost constantly. It is a rare sight to see a day that is completely without rain, let alone one that shows a blue sky. Wet and soggy but with no true escape, the occupants of these lands are forced to continue their daily routines despite the weather.

monster
RAIN FELL FROM THE OVERCAST sky, a common sight in this month. It almost felt to be nonstop. While not always pounding, it was rare to see one of the beautiful, sunny days that one might see in the summer.
THANKFULLY, BEING A TIGER GENERALLY meant liking water. Or at least being able to tolerate it. Monster was no different.
THE BLACK TIGER SLOWLY MADE his way to the wetlands. With each step, the ground below his paws grew soggier. The trees of the Nighttime Dreams Forest gave way to ferns and other plantlife that was more comfortable in a wetter environment. It was not long before Monster's paws were covered in muddy water past his wrists. He grimaced slightly at the uncomfortable feeling, but made no verbal complaint. It was not quite that he hated water, but rather, he hated having to stand in such dirty, mucky water. The Alnur River was a different story. Sadly, though it was in the marsh somewhere, it wasn't by him.
NEEDING AN ESCAPE FROM THE rather uncomfortable feeling, the amur tiger leaped onto a nearby tree. His claws dug into its bark, and he pulled himself up with ease, lounging over a sturdy branch. Mon's yellow eyes watched his surroundings intently.

ELEANOR
she ran and she ran, she hadn't a clue how long she had run. the sun was setting and when Eleanor left her home it was half-way in the sky, that gave her a clue. the pounding of her feet was becoming louder, drumming out Eleanors echoing sounds of stading outside her fathers chamber, the moaning and pleasureable roars. she was furious and frightened all in one. her surroundings where unfamiliar, the sents were obscure. she knew that there must be some tiger around. she didn't want to call out in fear of one of her fathers guards hearing. eleanor warily stopped beside a river and began lapping, thick trees and undergrowth were looming over her. the only sound was her lapping. the water gently washed up against her underbelly, her neat paws were tucked underneath her neatly as she scanned the area, flinching as a bird flew from the trees. she suddenly felt very hot and decided to slip into the water and follow the stream, she had no-where to get to anyway.
she only lifted herself out of the water when the sun began to set and she looked for somewhere to sleep. Eleanor wandered werily across the forest, the trees began to thin out and bushes covered the grass. when she stepped onto the grass water began to seep through it. she walked quickly determined to get away from this water as it was dirty and it made her frightened. the sun wasn't see-able through the thick canopy and the dim light revealed a large rock, leaping onto it she sat down and brought her paw around her ear once. she lifted my cranium and opened my mouth and tasted the air, another tiger was here and very close, Eleanor unsheathed her claws and growled. "Whos there? If you work for my father!" she growled through gritted teeth. she looked around and scanned the trees, a dark figure sat on the sturdy tree. he didn't smell like her fathers guards..."Who are you anyway? I am...." she thought about not telling him her name but then shrugged, what had she got to live for? "Eleanor."
